Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2, 2026

Overview

Numerate is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All information you enter into Numerate stays on your device.

Data Collection

We do not collect any data. Specifically:

  • No personal information is collected
  • No usage analytics or telemetry
  • No crash reports sent automatically
  • No third-party analytics SDKs
  • No advertising identifiers
  • No cookies or tracking technologies

Data Storage

All data you create in Numerate — including trackers, history entries, notes, and photos — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is not accessible to us or any third party.

Widget data is shared between the main app and widget extension using an App Group container, which remains entirely on your device.

Data Export

Numerate allows you to export all your data as a JSON file at any time. This export is generated locally on your device. You choose how and where to share or store the exported file.

Network Access

Numerate does not require an internet connection and makes no network requests. The app functions entirely offline.

Third-Party Services

Numerate does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

Siri and Shortcuts

When you use Siri or the Shortcuts app with Numerate, voice processing is handled entirely by Apple according to their privacy policy. Numerate only receives the structured intent data (e.g., "increment tracker X") — no voice recordings or audio data.

Children's Privacy

Since Numerate does not collect any data, it is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

This Website

The Numerate website (numerate.app) is a static website. It does not use cookies, tracking scripts, or analytics services.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Since Numerate does not collect any data, we do not anticipate significant changes.
